Alexandrian Voices at Venezia in Musica [Venice, Italy]

Eleni Theodoridou was born and lives in Thessaloniki.

She is a graduate from the German School Thessaloniki and the Department of German Philology of Aristotle University. She has also studied piano and theory of music at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and has attended courses and seminars on Choir Conducting by Anthony Kontogeorgiou and Theodora Paflovits.

She teaches the german language at Mantoulides Educators, where she also directs the school choirs, as well as in the Singing and Melodramatic Classes of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

She also directs, from their foundation, the choirs of Alexandria Municipality, Melissanthi and Alexandrian Voices.

Alexandrian Voices at World Choir Games [Riga, Latvia]

She counts numerous honors and awards with all the choirs she directs, both in Greece and abroad. She has also collaborated with prominent Greek composers such as Mimis Plessas, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Dionysis Tsaknis, Laurentis Maheritsas and Evanthia Reboutsika.

For her total contribution, she has been honored with gold medals from the Holy Diocese of Veria, Naoussa and Campania and from UNESCO.

She is a member at the European Choir Union (Europa Cantat) and the National Association of Choir Managers(PAN.SY.DI.CHO).

For us, the choristers, she is the one that can turn the vision into technique and transform our uneducated voices into an ensemble worthy of competition with great choruses from all around the world.
